Salida, CO - Smalltown For The Cause

The roots of Smalltown for the Cause were planted by both Campout for the Cause and Renewal. These wonderful events and community have led us to a new home in downtown Salida, and the birth of Smalltown for the Cause: Music. Yoga. Community. Salida is a real, intimate small town with the character, access to nature and unique personality that fits perfectly with the Bonfire ethos.

Smalltown features conscious music, along with yoga, workshops, music education, and outdoor activities. The festival focuses on philanthropy, supporting environmental and social causes.

The venue takes places at Riverside Park with two nights of Elephant Revival, two stages, robust yoga classes, kid’s zone, coffee bar, food trucks, and more. Surf the Scout Wave just behind the stage (pending seasonal river flows), bike or hike Salida’s epic trails, walk to cafes, shops, and riverside hangs, and so much more right in the heart of this small, but mighty community. Smalltown For The Cause camping is located at South Ark Neighborhood, just 1.3 miles from the venue along the South Arkansas River. Bike in 8 minutes!

Smalltown is this year’s renedition of Campout For The Case, a festival that has always been intimate, family-friendly and committed to community and conscious living. Unlike large-scale commercial festivals, we choose to remain intimate and intentional. Integrating the fabric of the community into all aspects of the gathering. Quality over quantity is a mantra and the festival is heralded for leaving their event spaces cleaner that they found them. Past performers have included names like Billy Strings, Elephant Revival, Fruition, Gregory Alan Isakov, The California Honeydrops, and more.
