3 Perfect Summer Gin + Tonic Recipes from the Breckenridge Distillery

The traditional Gin and Tonic, it has refreshing written all over it. It is a classic cocktail and the perfect summer sipper. Our  fragrant American-style gin stays true to the Breckenridge ideals of mouthfeel and flavor. A juniper body is balanced with notes of bright citrus and complimentary spicy undertones achieved through maceration during distillation. The delicate floral notes layered throughout the profile are extracted through botanical basket distillation. When we asked our Liquid Chef Billie Keithley to come up with a few easy twists on this classic, it was easy to pair seasonal fruits and florals using our Gin. GOLDEN BERRY GIN + TONIC

Ingredients:
2oz Breckenridge Gin
2 golden berries
2 basil leaves
Top with tonic
Garnish: golden berries and basil

Muddle 2 golden berries with 2 basil leaves. Add ice & gin. Top with tonic.

ROSE BUD GIN + TONIC

Ingredients:
2oz Breckenridge Gin
1 drop rose water
Top with Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic Water
Garnish: dried rose buds

THYME FOR BERRIES GIN + TONIC

Ingredients:
2oz Breckenridge Gin
1/2oz berry/thyme syrup*
1/2oz lime juice
Top with tonic
Garnish: thyme and berries

*Over medium heat, add 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add 6 blackberries, 8 blueberries, muddled. Let rest for an hour. Strain & bottle. Keep refrigerated.
